Crochet Basket

With the right materials, crochet can create a stiff fabric, perfect for homewares like baskets. By changing the size of the base and the height of the sides you will be able to customise your basket to be just the size you need. A big one for laundry, or a small one for pencils, and of course a basket for your crafting!

In this one day class we will cover the basics of how to make a basket. The techniques we will cover are magic circle, crochet in the round, UK double crochet and V stitch.

This class is suitable for beginners and those with some crochet experience. 

This class requires 1 skein of chunky weight cotton cord and a 9mm crochet hook. These supplies can be purchased from the mini mobile yarn shop on the day.

Classes are held at Patch Chelmsford, 5-7 Grays Yard, Springfield Road, Chelmsford CM2 6QR. It is next to Nando's in the town centre.
